Sabine, in Berlin geboren und aufgewachsen, begann mit Ballettunterricht im Alter von zarten sechs Jahren. Mit 15 Jahren erkannte sie für sich, dass sie professionell tanzen möchte und bewarb sich an der Staatlichen Ballettschule Berlin, wo sie 2003 ihren Abschluss in klassischem Ballett, Modern und Jazz Dance machte. Nur zufällig stieß sie auf Salsa und war sofort im Bann dieses Tanzes. Im Jahre 2004 zog sie in die Niederlande um dem holländischen Showteam „Salsa Dance Squad“ beizutreten. Mit diesem Team reiste, unterrichtete sie und trat weltweit auf. Seit Anfang 2009 kreiert sie gemeinsam mit ihrem Partner Sheng ihre eigenen Shows und bereist nun mit ihm die nationale und internationale „Salsawelt“.

Sheng, in Aruba geboren (Niederländische Antillen), ist mit Salsa aufgewachsen. Mit 17 zog er in die Niederlande und fing schnell an Salsa und den karibischen Lebensstil zu vermissen. Also begann er Salsa-Unterricht zu nehmen und wurde schon bald eingeladen der Showgruppe „Salsa Dance Squad“ beizutreten. Seit 2009 tanzt er erfolgreich mit Sabine eigene Shows.
Wir freuen uns, dass dieses dynamische und sympathische Duo auch im diesmal wieder bei der Salsa Convention Berlin dabei ist.

Sabine was born and raised in Berlin, Germany, where she started taking ballet classes at the age of six. Around the age of fifteen she knew that she needed to take the dancing to a higher level and auditioned at the “Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin”, where she graduated in 2003 in the subjects Classical Ballet, Modern, and Jazz Dance. During her schooling she accidentally encountered Salsa and was immediately hooked. In 2004 she moved to The Netherlands to teach and joined the Dutch show team Salsa Dance Squad. With this team she had the pleasure to be travelling, performing and teaching all over the world. Since the beginning of 2009 her partner Sheng and her are creating their own shows and they are performing and teaching nationally and internationally.

Sheng was born and raised in Aruba, a small Caribbean island, where Salsa has always been a part of everyday life. When he was 17, his family moved to the The Netherlands and very quickly he started missing Salsa and the Caribbean life style. In order to become connected to this again, he started taking salsa classes. Very soon after he started, he was asked to join the Dutch show team Salsa Dance Squad. Since the beginning of 2009 he is performing and teaching nationally and internationally with his partner Sabine.
