Grupo Alafia ist eine charismatische männliche Tanzformation, geleitet von Francesco Scalvenzi.
Die Gruppe wurde im Sommer 2008 gegründet und hat seit dem das Ziel etwas Außergewöhnliches wie auch Originelles für das Salsa Publikum zu kreieren.
Im Sommer 2010 kam eine entschiedene Wende:
Für ihre Pachanga Show bekamen sie auf dem New York Salsa Congress 2011 Standing Ovations. Seitdem nahm ihre Karriere einen erfolgreichen Verlauf und sie reisen zu vielen bedeutenden Salsa Veranstaltungen in der ganzen Welt.
Sie sind bekannt für ihren unterhaltsamen und effektiven Unterricht sowie für ihre unermüdliche Leidenschaft zum Social Dance.

Grupo Alafia is a funny and charismatic male team, directed and choreographed by Francesco Scalvenzi.
Since the group was born in summer 2008 the Group’s first goal has always been to create something extremely original and alternative for the Salsa audience.
Summer of 2010 was a turning point for the Italian guys: their Pachanga-Show received international recognition by a standing ovation at the New York Salsa Congress 2011, and since then Grupo Alfia has been invited to participate at the most renowned dance congresses in Europe and all around the world.
The team has achieved extraordinary success, also for their funny and really effective teaching technique, and an inexhaustible passion for social dancing!!
Grupo Alafia will be teaching and performing at the Berlin Salsa Convention 2013!!
So ladies…..get ready to dance all night long with the italian guys!!!!
